PHYTO was created in 1969 by the botanical scientist Patrick Ales with the dual philosophy to respect hair and nature in order to effectively manage them. The most potent botanical active ingredients are extracted to create innovative hair care treatments that are extremely effective in treating problem hair and protecting the natural hair from damage.
In order to limit the use of preservatives, PHYTO products are packaged in glass, metal or aluminum containers and by using authentic materials, PHYTO naturally helps protect the environment. The packaging is currently being gradually migrated to aluminium as some of our images show, for better protection of the light-sensitive active ingredients. You may still receive your product in the old packaging during this transition.
